Mornington District Basketball Association wishes to provide an updated communication regarding the Civic Reserve Recreation Centre closure.
As previously advised, cladding works were scheduled between 7th and 30th April; however, we have now been informed that the project timeline has been extended. As a result, the stadium remains unavailable at this time.
For Saturday 2nd May 2026, all competitions will proceed without the use of Civic Reserve, and no U8s games will be fixtured on this date.
At this stage, stadium bookings are expected to resume from Saturday, 9th May 2026 onwards, subject to project completion timelines.
The following senior competitions will now commence on the revised dates below:
- Monday – Social Ladies – 11th May 2026
- Tuesday – Open Women – 12th May 2026
- Thursday – O30 Men – 14th May 2026
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility while these important facility upgrades are completed, and we look forward to returning to full operations at Civic Reserve shortly.
