Ground BreakHERS

Ground BreakHERS is the program to join if you are a competently skilled baller looking to take your game to the next level. Players enrolling in this program must be committed to the game and have the desire to join the Mornington Breakers.

The focus will be on developing the essential skills and fundamentals needed to become a successful representative basketball player. Players are expected to be committed to the program and have a real desire to work hard and develop their game.

ABILITY: Competently skilled players wishing to Try Out for Mornington Breakers

*Please note sessions are run on 10ft rings*

ELIGIBILITY: Participants must be registered in MDBA Winter 26 Domestic season to be eligible for this program.

UNIFORM: Players are required to purchase a Mornington Breakers Reversible Training Singlet (Girls Cut and Boys Cut). The cost is $45, and it can be purchased through our Online Uniform Shop. Generally, players will wear a 4XS or 3XS. Sizing can be tried on at Mornington Basketball Stadium prior to the session starting or during normal competitions hours.

Players in the Ground BreakHERS Program born in 2017 may be selected for the Breakers Development Squad.
