WHAT IS DEV SQUAD?

The Breakers Development Squad is a select-entry program designed for identified athletes preparing for representative basketball. Participation in this program requires a genuine intention to play for Breakers in the 2027/28 VJBL season, noting that selection into the squad does not guarantee future placement in a VJBL team.

The program operates as a weekly training schedule during the school term and includes participation in four tournaments across the year. These training and competition opportunities are structured to support player development and enhance their readiness for progression into the VJBL pathway.

Training is held on Friday afternoons from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Mornington Basketball Stadium. All sessions are closed (drop‑and‑go) to align with the VJBL tryout environment.
