This September, Mornington Basketball is running a Competition Coach Course for coaches looking to develop their skills and knowledge!
The Competition Coach Course (formerly the Club Coach Course) is the next step in the Basketball Victoria Coaching Accreditation Pathway and is designed to build on the skills and knowledge developed through the Participation Coach Course (formerly the Community Coaches Course).
The course covers:
- Teaching and refining basketball skills
- Introducing offensive and defensive team concepts
- Planning and delivering effective training sessions
- Supporting athlete development in competitive environments
To complete the course, coaches must complete the online training and attend two face-to-face sessions on Tuesday September 8th and Tuesday September 15th, 6:00pm–9:00pm at Mornington Secondary College.
COST: $150 Per Coach
