Mornington Basketball is excited to announce that registrations for the Mornington Breakers Tryouts for the 2026/27 Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) season are NOW OPEN!
Boys who have not previously played VJBL and are eligible for Under 12s (Born 2016/2017) or Under 14s (Born 2014/2015) are required to attend New Player Tryouts first. Attending New Player Tryouts does not guarantee progression to Phase 1 of the Breakers Tryouts. Advancement to this phase is by invitation only, with all selections made at the club’s discretion.
Players born in 2018 are asked to submit an Expression of Interest. Our Basketball Development Manager, Nathan Cumberland, will contact families directly with information about suitable opportunities within the Mornington Breakers Pathway.
Players from any association are welcome to attend tryouts. However, if selected, they must be registered in our domestic competition for the upcoming Summer season.
