Basketball Victoria are requiring all individuals aged over 12-and-2-months to be fully vaccinated (unless medically exempt) to participate. This includes players, coaches, technical officials, spectators, volunteers or staff attending a venue for these events. Every patron (12-and-2-months or older) will be required to check in via the venue QR Code and their smart-phone and will need to show their green tick via the Services Victoria App.
The $100.00 deposit is payable online only and is at the end of the Player Contract form. If your Player Contract and deposit is not received by this time it will be taken as a non acceptance of the position. Please ensure that you take the time to read all the information provided on this page.
2022 PLAYER & PARENT CONTRACTPlayers joining Breakers for the first time will need to visit Mornington Basketball Stadium on during competition hours (4pm – 9pm) to try on sample sizes of the uniform. You will then need to order your uniform online by no later than 9pm on Sunday 9th January 2022, an order will be placed on Monday 10th of January. Non stock items i.e hoodies and warm up tops will be ordered from our supplier and take approximately 4-6 weeks. In some cases we may not have playing uniforms available and you will be given a loan singlet and you may need to buy plain black basketball shorts in the interim before your first official match.

2022 VJBL CALENDEROur Club relies on volunteers and one of the most important roles is that of Breakers Team Manager. If you are super organised, a great communicator and would like to support your child’s team in 2022 please send a brief email containing your details to manager@morningtonbasketball.com.au
Your duties will include collecting fees in advance, liaising with parents and coaches, attending to first aid during games and training and organising tournaments and events.
All Coach, Team Manager and Assistant Coach positions must be approved by the Committee of Management before the appointments are confirmed. Team Managers are required to submit a valid Working With Children Check and a signed Member Protection Declaration.
