Mornington Breakers are excited to kick off our preparation for the 2026 VJBL season with our U12 and U14 Domestic Player Tryouts! 💜
Domestic Player Tryouts are ONLY for male players that have not played VJBL before and are eligible for Under 12 (2015/2016 Born) or Under 14 (2013/2014 Born) selection only. All domestic female players, U16 boys and U18 boys progress straight to Phase 1 of breakers tryouts.
PLEASE NOTE: Male Under 12 and Under 14 Domestic Players wishing to attend Breakers Tryouts in October must attend this tryout first. Players attending this session may or may not be invited to attend Breakers Tryouts.
Dates and Times:
👉 Friday September 5th – U12 Boys
Time: 4:30pm to 5:30pm
👉 Friday September 12th – U14 Boys
Time: 4:30pm to 5:30pm
❗️You will be notified via email if your child is invited to attend Phase 1 of Breakers Try Outs in October.
📍 Venue: Mornington Basketball Stadium (1051 Nepean Highway, Mornington)
There is no feedback provided to athletes if they are unsuccessful in progressing through to Phase 1 of Breakers tryouts.
Registrations for Domestic Player Tryouts will close on Tuesday the 2nd of September at 5pm. We will not be accepting any late registrations.
