As a mum of 2 primary school-aged children who have been playing basketball with the MDBA for the past 5 years, I wish to give back to an association that my family plans on being involved with for many years to come.
Having worked in public healthcare for the past 20 years as both a physiotherapist and in various leadership roles, I would bring a unique perspective to our basketball committee. I am keen to be involved in any aspect of player wellness, injury prevention and management, as well as community engagement. My current role provides me with operational and strategic experience, which would assist me in contributing to the committee's initiatives. I would welcome the opportunity to further support the MDBA strategic plan as well as support the association to provide a healthy, inclusive environment that supports athletes at all levels, from grassroots development to competitive play.

Since my daughter joined the club in 2022 as part of a domestic team, we’ve become a dedicated club family. She has progressed through the Ground BreakHers program and development squad and now proudly plays representative basketball for the association. I’ve also been closely involved as a Team Manager for three seasons—an experience I thoroughly enjoyed, working closely with coaches, players, and families to help support the smooth running of the team.
Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in people-focused roles, including customer service leadership and, for the past five years, as an Executive Assistant to Managing Directors.
I am confident in meetings, follow-up, sharing ideas and bring strong skills in communication and organisation.
I work well with others, value collaboration, and pride myself on being proactive, respectful, reliable, and solutions focused.
I’m passionate about the future of the club, the children, and I would love the opportunity to contribute fresh ideas, offer a strong administrative skillset, and help support the club's continued growth in a way that aligns with its values.
